drapery — a tiny poem for April

stonefolds

conceal the temple’s secrets

lostlace in the march of time

magdalena

maiden

crone

prometheans, silenced

by chokeholds

~

we watch,

lived lifetimes

the agony of birth/death

the mourners at the gates

~

stories we never told you emerge

and your arms embrace us

  1. I raad you and I don’t mourn. I don’t. Just in the middle of tears too. Just an inch away from the unspeakable. So. You didn’t write this fir ne. But I took it that way.
