finding your inner mountain…

Start standing.  Stand up for yourself because no one else will.

It hurts to look at this house.  This weekend the front yard, the dining room — ready to paint it.

It hurts, knowing he didn’t care.  It does, but I care.

Alone, I am myself — remembering myself.  One day, each day, who I am.

Yoga helps.

Mountain pose is about finding that inside.  That you have the strength of the mountain inside of you.  You can find it in thongs or barefoot or even in your shoes.  The dining room floor is where I will be able to practice first.  Next room to paint is the living room.  Clear the pine needles and weeds from the yard.

I come first from now on.
