Ooooof. I came across the most darling lingerie, ever. Silk! Here are the pictures I found… They came from a company that is no longer making them. What a shame! I found the link to Toad Lillie, what charm!
Now, that short story I wrote was about some real panties that were left for me once upon a time. They didn’t have these frills, and they were the darkest silk ever, Bing Cherry Silk to be exact. Looking at these makes me think of my favorite fabric. Silk.
Just the way it shines and the subtle sheen of it.
The utter glam of it. This morning I was looking at Italian Vogue and I saw that dark cherry red is a big color for next year. That was a photo by one of my favorites, too. Deborah Turbeville. Oh that coat. It’s exquisite!
That would make a really fab lipstick shade as well — a dark cerise on that level.

Sigh. All my friends are in London at a big Conference. (writers and editors, that is) – wish I was there, or Paris.
