The Bad Sex Awards versus Literary Erotica 2013

It is pretty funny.

Also, though — it’s not that easy to write sex.  I know because I do.  Just got two reviews and was compared to James Joyce and Anais Nin .

The Guardian has the choice passages for this year.

So, I’ve just had the honor of having four short stories chosen for the Treasure Chest at ERWA to run in the Jan/Mar edition.

I’m writing Chocolate Suede this morning and frankly I’m tempted to include some Brie, only because that was such a travesty, truly.

Here — take a look at the pinboard for my story.  I’m writing 30 tales of shoes, from all sexual angles this year.

xxoo!

  1. I have not 1 but 8 sex scenes to write. Each with a different subculture of sex. It is by far the most difficult thing to do because I don’t just have to get the mechanism right, I have to delve into the psychology of the event. Ugh. I don’t know why I do this to myself. Sex scenes are the worst.

  2. Hey. I just saw a 2* review on something I did. The reviewer even left a little internet face. This one. :-& ———– you can’t please all of the people all of the time, no? We all delve into the psychology of it. xxoo!
