*NOTE I am very sorry that I have read so many terrible things about Hillary Clinton on the news of late. I simply have NO INTENTION OF SUPPORTING HER IN 2015. It’s a question of ETHICS on my part. That is just the way the cookie crumbles. I am supporting RAND PAUL this year. xxoo!

Hillary Clinton’s run for President in 2008 was the election of my lifetime. Look what we got stuck with, because of what the Democratic Party pulled on her. All my life, since my very first chance to vote, I cast my ballot for the women in my Party. Too bad those turned out to be Boxer, Capps, Feinstein and Pelosi. Because? They turned on her in that election. I’m independent now, in thought, but still registered. Our country would not be in the mess it is in had the Party realized what half the voters knew. Hillary Clinton is the last Democrat I am going to vote for if she runs. We are facing a Watergate scandal over Benghazi that thankfully we have Trey Gowdy to unpack. I have no party loyalty, because I like both of them. I need to have my faith in our government restored. I think he can do that and this is the tip of an iceberg he is about to unpack. The stench coming from Washington and the corrupt gang running things caused me to reflect way back to a Hillary I knew and loved in the 90’s. Half the female voters born in the 1980’s aren’t going to know that Hillary at all, but I do. She has worked for this country all of her life. This is independent of that dolt Bill Clinton and his Lewinsky fix. She is what you call a long suffering wife. I can relate to that too. But it is her track record in school and at work, as a woman of the Second Wave feminists that you need to understand. I’m actually going to work on a small book about that, because it is my tribute to her. I’ll never forget that day I cast my vote for her in the primary, my god. It was unbelievable. And then I had to watch all the women turn on her. I could go on. But I won’t. She was our candidate. She stood for every single woman who ever worked, whoever tried for something more than just a marriage. For something on her own. And she was in Bill Clinton’s shadow. As a feminist? I’ll just say look what he has done to humiliate her via Lewinsky on the public stage. Think he is the only one? No. More than likely more of the men in Washington have a stable set up that you will never know about because they aren’t getting caught. But we’ll be going into that later. You want my cookie recipe first, because we are going to need a few sweets to get us through this election in 2016. Let me show you what Hillary Clinton said, way back, about cookies. Hers were simple fare, Oatmeal, sturdy, I’m going to get you her recipe. Sure she baked them, just like all wives do. Husbands? They like to sit around watching the game and waiting on that little plate don’t they? Here is what Hillary said, and why she matters so much to all of us:
The First Ladies of my lifetime start with Jackie Kennedy. When we got to Hillary? She was all of us. I decided to bake something for her that she deserves. A Presidential style cookie. A big soft cookie that men will love as they swirl around her, because they remember her accomplishments. I know they are there. I worked in corporate culture for a newspaper the year she made that statement. Men were more decent then. Not all the men in Washington are afraid of her. Her years of service to our country? Overseas? You have no idea what it takes for a woman to go that high. You have no idea what it felt like when she didn’t win. We cried for her. And we cried again when she offered to work like a slave for someone who had insulted her all through the election. If she decides to run in 2016? Somebody on her team please fix these for her, along the trail. Hillary Clinton’s Cookies for 2016 ~ Baileys Irish Cream Toll House Chocolate Chip Pecan One stick of softened butter 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar I egg I teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream 2 and 1/4 cups cake flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 bag of dark chocolate chips (or any flavor chocolate) 3/4 cup whole pecans ~ Cream butter and sugar together, after letting the butter soften naturally. Add the egg, and vanilla and Baileys, mix to blend. Add flour, salt and soda, mix well. It will be a very light and soft cookie dough. Add chocolate chips and pecans. I dropped these from a tablespoon so they are large cookies. Nine to a sheet. The recipe made 18. If you wanted smaller ones just use a teaspoon. Bake in a 375 degree oven until golden. 8-12 minutes for small ones, about 20 for large. Enjoy! xxoo! from Adrienne
NOTE: I am not going to be able to vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016 because of the Benghazi scandal. I do not trust the upper echelon of the Democratic party anymore. I don’t trust the Republican Party either for that matter. I intend to vote for Rand Paul strictly on his ethics regarding Foreign Policy. I will be blogging Feminism though, throughout the election. Because I wanted Hillary in 2008 does not give any guarantee about 2016. I would need to see her come clean about what that White House has been like. The Benghazi scandal and the emails are what has soured me. I have been a Democrat since the Reagan era. My first vote for a woman was for Geraldine Ferraro, when I was in college. Watergate was the reason I chose the Democratic Party, in the first place. All of my political blogging pro-Hillary is here in the blog and dates from 2008. I feel that this will be the ugliest election of my lifetime so far. 2008 was bad enough.
